There is something about this vegetation that captures my eye. Perhaps its the type of line created by the edge of the leaves, perhaps it's the foliage's overlapping, concentric nature, or maybe the gradient color from the interior to the exterior. I'm not quiet sure what about this ball of cabbage intrigues me, but trying to figure out what aspects of its being capture my attention is fascinating to me. It feels cool to be aware of the intricacies of my psyche that make me drawn to squiggles in the world. Sometimes I feel like a big weirdo.

Lauren - I LOVE your blog! you are so creative (far from weird! :)) and your description made ME enjoy looking at it, as well. An oh, so wise professor pointed out that being creative is part of being made in the image of God (i had never thought of it quite that way...or maybe i just tend to take it for granted at times!)...your cabbage as a perfect example of His shockingly amazing creativity. We're surrounded by it. and you, m'friend, have certainly been blessed with it! I look forward to reading and seeing more - and seein' YOU soon, i hope!
